When you submit a request, Call Automator reads it and immediately tries to figure out who you want to reach - before you answer a single question.
Here's exactly how that works.
Step 1: It searches your World automatically
The moment you submit your request, Call Automator scans your saved World contacts and tries to match the target you described. It looks at names, nicknames, your relationship to the contact, their industry, and any notes you've saved.
It's smart about it too. If you said "call my dentist," it will look for a person or business in your World with a dentist-related relationship or industry - not just someone literally named "my dentist." If it finds a confident match, it links that contact to your call automatically, no selection required.
If you specify a location in your request (like "call Verizon in Phoenix, AZ") and your World has a Verizon saved with a different city, Call Automator won't match it - it knows you're asking about a different location so it would proceed with step 2.
Step 2: If no World match is found, it searches for the business
If the target isn't already in your World and it's a business, Call Automator runs a location-aware business Google search automatically.
If you named a specific location (like "call Verizon in Austin, TX" or "call the Target on Colfax"), it searches for that business in the city, state, or area you specified.
If you didn't specify a location, it uses the city/state/ZIP saved on your Loophole account (under My Account > Settings > Address) and searches for nearby locations.
If the search comes back with a single strong match, Call Automator shows it to you and asks you to confirm it's the right place before proceeding.
If there are multiple results, you'll see a list to choose from.
Step 3: You confirm, correct, or add it manually
Once a target is identified - whether from your World or a business search - you'll see it in the Call Summary card on the right. At that point you can:
Confirm the match and continue
Edit the phone number if the one found doesn't look right
Search again with different details if it's the wrong location
Add manually by entering the name, phone number, and address yourself - useful for people, small local businesses, or anyone who doesn't show up in a typical Google search
Any business you confirm or add gets saved to your World automatically so it's ready for next time.
