What is the Problem Setup page?

Updated over 2 months ago

After you submit a problem, you'll land on the Problem Setup page. This is where Loophole gathers the information it needs to start working on your problem.

Think of it as a personalized intake form - Loophole's AI analyzes what you've described and generates follow-up questions, identifies documents that would help, and suggests relevant people or businesses to track.

What happens when you first arrive

When you reach the Problem Setup page, you may see loading animations while Loophole's AI prepares your setup. This typically takes just a few seconds.

Once ready, you'll see up to three sections:

Section

What it shows

Questions

Follow-up questions based on your problem

Files Needed

Documents that would help (contracts, receipts, screenshots, etc.)

World Updates

People, businesses, or other entities related to your problem

Not every problem will have all three sections - it depends on what Loophole needs from you.

Your progress saves automatically

You don't need to complete everything in one sitting. Answers save as you go, so you can:

  • Answer a few questions now

  • Close the page

  • Come back later

When you return, everything you've already completed will still be there.

Required vs. optional items

Each question and file is marked as either REQUIRED or OPTIONAL.

  • Required items must be completed before you can continue

  • Optional items help Loophole do a better job, but aren't mandatory

You'll see badges on each item indicating which category it falls into.

The "Continue to Problem Dashboard" button

At the bottom of the page, you'll see a button labeled Continue to Problem Dashboard. This button stays disabled until you've completed all required items:

  • βœ“ All required questions answered

  • βœ“ All required files provided (or marked unavailable)

  • βœ“ All required World items confirmed

Once everything is complete, the button becomes active. Click it to move forward.

What happens when you click Continue

When you click Continue to Problem Dashboard, Loophole does a final check:

  1. Validates that all requirements are satisfied

  2. Processes your responses

Then one of two things happens:

  • You're redirected to the Problem Dashboard - Your problem is ready and Loophole begins working on it

  • The page refreshes with new questions - In some cases, your answers trigger additional follow-up questions that need to be answered before proceeding

If more questions appear, just answer them and click Continue again.

Why does setup matter?

The information you provide during setup directly impacts how well Loophole can help you. The more complete and accurate your responses:

  • The faster Loophole can work

  • The fewer back-and-forth clarifications needed

  • The better the final outcome

Take your time here - it's worth it.

Quick tips

  • Be thorough - Detailed answers lead to better results

  • Upload documents early - If you have relevant files, attach them during setup

  • Don't have a file? - Click "I don't have this file" rather than leaving it blank

  • Come back anytime - Your progress is saved automatically

The Problem Setup page is your first step toward solving your problem.

Once you complete it, Loophole takes over and gets to work on preparing your first workflow.
