No. Once you delete a file from Loophole, it's permanently removed from our systems - and there is no way to recover it.
This is a hard delete, not a "trash bin" situation. When you confirm deletion, the file is gone immediately and irreversibly.
Why files can't be recovered
Immediate removal from storage
Deleted files are purged from our system within minutes. AI file data is purged from our database daily. There's no backup holding area or recovery window.Security and privacy by design
We built the system this way intentionally. When you delete something, it should actually be deleted - not sitting in limbo where it could be exposed, leaked, or accessed later.Storage optimization
Permanent deletion keeps our systems efficient and ensures your storage quota accurately reflects what you're actually storing.
Before you delete
Make sure you're certain before confirming deletion. Once it's gone, it's gone.
If you think you might need a file later:
Download it to your device first
Add notes to remind yourself why you're keeping it
In some cases, a file may be temporarily locked from deletion if it’s attached to an active, unresolved Problem. To delete the file, you’ll first need to mark the Problem as solved or delete the Problem entirely.
