How Storage Billing Works
Automatic Monthly Billing
Storage plan fees are automatically deducted from your Available Credit Balance each month:
Your billing date is set when you first upgrade to a paid storage plan
Charges recur on the same day each month (ex: if you upgrade on the 15th, you'll be billed on the 15th of each subsequent month, until canceled)
If your billing date falls on a day that doesn't exist in a given month (ex: the 31st), billing occurs on the last day of that month
Insufficient Balance
If your Available Credit Balance is too low to cover your storage renewal:
Your account may be frozen until you add sufficient funds
You won't be able to upload new files until the balance issue is resolved
Your existing files remain secure and accessible
Checking Your Storage Usage
You can view your current storage usage at any time on your Files page.
The storage meter shows:
How much storage you've used
Your current plan's total limit
Upgrading Your Storage Plan
To upgrade your storage plan:
Go to your Files page
Look for the storage meter beside the 'Upload File' button
Click the 'Change Plan' button
Select your desired plan
Review the billing details and confirmation
Confirm your upgrade
Important: You must have sufficient funds in your Available Credit Balance to upgrade. If needed, you can add funds before completing the upgrade.
Downgrading Your Storage Plan
To downgrade your storage plan:
Go to your Files page
Look for the storage meter beside the 'Upload File' button
Click the 'Change Plan' button
Select your desired plan
Review the billing details and confirmation
Confirm your downgrade
Note: Before downgrading, make sure your current file usage fits within the new plan's limit. You may need to delete files before downgrading is possible. Downgrades go into effect immediately.
