Updated over 4 months ago

Loophole has multiple security safeguards in place to protect your account. As an additional layer of security, you can report any suspicious login activity you notice in your login history.

How to Report a Suspicious Login

  1. Go to your Login History

  2. Review your recent login attempts

  3. Click the Report button next to any login that isn't from your current IP address

  4. In the text area, explain why you think the login is suspicious

  5. Click Submit Report

Note: If you believe your account has been compromised, mention this in your report for a faster response from our security team, and immediately change your password at Account Settings > Security.

What Makes a Login Suspicious?

Consider reporting login attempts that show:

  • Unfamiliar IP addresses or locations

  • Devices you don't recognize

  • Failed login attempts you didn't make

  • Login times when you weren't accessing your account

What Happens Next?

You can check the status of your report and view details anytime by clicking the 'Reported' label in your Login History.

Our security team typically reviews reports within 12 hours.

Depending on their findings, they may:

  • Lock your account temporarily for protection

  • Contact you for verification

  • Ban the suspicious IP address

  • Take no action if the login was legitimate

You can check the status of your report anytime by clicking the Reported label in your Login History.

Report Limitations

  • You cannot report your current IP address

  • You can only report each login once

  • You can only close reports that have 'New' status

  • All reports are reviewed by our security team

Closing Your Report

If you realize a login was actually legitimate or made a mistake when reporting, you can close your own report while it's still under review.

How to Close a Report:

  1. Go to your Login History

  2. Click the Reported label next to the login you reported

  3. Review your report details

  4. Click Close Report at the bottom right

  5. Confirm you want to close the report

Your account security is our priority. If you have questions about a specific report, our security team will reach out to you directly.
