What if my request gets declined?

Updated over 3 months ago

Not every request is accepted by Loophole. Sometimes our system - or a human reviewer - will determine that your case isn’t a good fit. If that happens, here’s what you need to know:

Common reasons we decline a request:

1. We don’t think we can realistically help.
We only move forward on cases where we believe there’s a strong, policy-based path to success. If we don’t see a viable strategy, we’d rather decline than waste your time or money.

2. Your request doesn’t align with our platform rules.
This includes:

  • Asking for legal advice or representation

  • Submitting a business matter from a Personal account

  • Prohibited or risky use cases (fraud, impersonation, policy abuse, etc.)

  • Incomplete, vague, or misleading prompts

3. You’re on the wrong account type.
Business matters - like competitor sabotage, review takedowns, or vendor disputes - require a Business account. If submitted from a Personal account, they will be declined.

What happens when I get declined?

For AI Solutions:
You won’t be charged. If you were charged, it will be refunded to your account balance.

For Loophole AI & Tools:
- If your request is declined during initial intake, no charge is made at all.

- If your request is declined after it’s accepted and we've already started work (via the first Tool Action: the Research Console), we’ll cancel the workflow and refund $140 out of the $150 you paid to your available account balance.
The $10 covers the time and computing power spent evaluating your request.

For Custom Solutions:
If we can’t support the scope, you won’t be charged at all - or you’ll receive a full refund depending on timing.

Declines don’t mean your problem is invalid - just that we don’t see a clear, policy-aligned way to help within our current capabilities.

Can I resubmit or revise my request?

Sometimes. If the decline was due to missing detail, incomplete documents, or a confusing prompt - you may be able to revise and try again. But if the core issue is outside our scope (like asking for legal representation), resubmission won’t change the outcome.

If you believe your request was wrongly declined - especially if you’re being auto-declined without explanation - email us at Hi [at] Loophole (dot) com.
