If you need to temporarily stop all automations on your problem, you can pause it at any time directly from your Problem Dashboard. Pausing is fully reversible - you can unpause whenever you're ready.
How to pause
Open your Problem Dashboard for the problem you want to pause
Click the dropdown arrow (next to the "Add Update" button) in the top right corner
Select Pause Problem
Review the warning, then click Pause Problem to confirm
What happens when paused
When you confirm, you will receive an email confirmation immediately.
You'll also see a notice explaining what to expect:
No automations will run on your problem while it's paused
You'll need to manually unpause when you're ready to resume
Daily credits will continue to be charged - pausing does not stop the daily maintenance fee (see: What are Problem Dashboard daily fees?)
Your problem data, files, strategy, and history are all preserved while paused. Nothing is lost.
Automatic pause
Your problem can also be automatically paused for the following reasons:
Desired outcome change
If you submit a desired outcome change, your problem is paused while the change is under review by our team. See: How do I update my desired outcome?
Insufficient credits
If an approved workflow requires more credits than you currently have available, your problem will be automatically paused. For example, if a workflow estimates 1.23 Research Console credits but you only have 0.88 remaining, your problem will pause until you add enough credits to continue. When you go to unpause, you'll be prompted to add credits before you can resume.
How do I unpause?
When you're ready to resume, you can unpause from the same dropdown menu on your Problem Dashboard.
Bottom line: Pausing stops all automations but doesn't stop daily fees. Click the dropdown on your Problem Dashboard and select "Pause Problem." When you're ready to resume, you can unpause from the same menu.
