What do the different Loophole account statuses mean?

Loophole accounts move through specific status stages depending on your signup, payment, and review progress. Here's what each status means and what you can (or can't) do at that stage:

1. Waitlist

You signed up, but haven’t added minimum required funds to your balance.

  • You can browse the platform with less restrictions

  • You can submit a prompt to see if your problem is eligible

  • You can request limited custom quotes

  • You cannot accept any quotes or use AI Solutions

  • You cannot upload files or use world

  • No fees have been charged

2. Pending

You added $29 or $99 to your balance, and your account request is under review.

  • Your payment is held in your available account balance, but not yet used

  • Our team is reviewing your identity, intent, and use case fit

  • You’ll be notified if approved or declined (typically within 12 hours)

3. Active

You’ve been approved - your account is live and usable.

  • You can access all eligible services

  • Your $29 or $99 deposit becomes available as a usable balance and is automatically used to cover your first monthly fee

  • You must keep enough balance to cover your monthly fee on each billing date - we'll email you a Low Balance Alert the day before if you're short

4. Frozen

Your account has been temporarily disabled because your balance couldn't cover your monthly account fee.

  • This happens when your Available Account Balance can't cover your monthly fee ($29 Personal / $99 Business) on your billing date - we email you a Low Balance Alert the day before if you're about to be short

  • You can't run tools or submit new Problems

  • To reactivate, just add funds (at least enough to cover your monthly fee - the add funds screen shows the minimum). Reactivation is automatic within minutes: your outstanding fee is charged from your new balance and you'll receive a confirmation email. No support request needed.

  • Important: If your account isn't funded within 7 days of being frozen, it is locked and scheduled for permanent deletion - including all Problems, files, and any remaining balance

For full details, see: How do I unfreeze my account?

5. Locked

Your account has been locked due to a policy or security issue - or because it stayed Frozen for more than 7 days without being funded.

  • You can not log in

  • No access to Loophole tools or services

  • Security locks may be due to suspicious activity, duplicate accounts, policy violations, or other security concerns - you may or may not receive an email with specific details

  • Non-payment locks happen automatically when a Frozen account isn't funded within 7 days - the account is scheduled for permanent deletion, any custom phone numbers are released, and you'll receive a "Final Notice" email

To request an appeal: Contact Security [at] Loophole (dot) com from the email address on file. Each case is reviewed individually, and unlocking is handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Flagged

Your account has been automatically flagged by our AI security system for review.

  • This status is triggered automatically when our system detects potential policy violations, suspicious patterns, or unusual activity

  • Common triggers include: attempted prompt engineering, repeated policy boundary testing, automated abuse patterns, or behavior that suggests malicious intent

  • You cannot log in while your account is flagged

  • All services and tools are temporarily inaccessible

  • An administrator will manually review your account activity (typically within 24 hours)

  • You may or may not receive an email explaining the specific flag reason

  • Your account status will either be:

    • Restored to your previous status (Active, Pending, etc.) if the review finds no issues

    • Moved to Locked if policy violations are confirmed

    • Declined/Refunded if you were in Pending status

To provide context: Contact Hi [at] Loophole (dot) com from your registered email address. Include any relevant details that may help clarify the situation.

Note: Flagged status is a protective measure, not an automatic ban. Many flagged accounts are restored after manual review confirms legitimate use.

What if I don’t know my status?

Your current status will always appear in Settings > More. If something seems off, email Hi [at] Loophole (dot) com and we’ll confirm it for you.
