Can I use Loophole for confidential or sensitive matters?

Updated over 7 months ago

Yes - many users come to Loophole with problems they don’t want public, automated, or misunderstood. We’re built to handle sensitive issues - but there are important boundaries you should know first.

What Loophole does to protect your confidentiality:

  • All prompts, uploads, and messages are treated as confidential

  • Sensitive cases are internally flagged for limited-access handling

  • We don’t share user data with outside parties unless required by law or platform compliance

  • All data is encrypted in transit and stored securely

What Loophole is not:

Loophole is not a law firm, medical provider, or financial institution. That means:

  • There is no attorney-client privilege

  • We are not bound by HIPAA or banking secrecy laws

  • You should avoid uploading highly sensitive personal info (like full SSNs, medical records, or unredacted legal filings) unless explicitly requested via secure channel

If you need enhanced confidentiality:

  • Verified or enterprise accounts can request a signed NDA

  • You can ask us to delete prior prompts or uploaded files (where legally allowed)

  • Custom data-handling terms may be available for high-risk or institutional users

To request confidentiality protections, email Hi [at] Loophole (dot) com with your use case.

Bottom line:

We take discretion seriously - but we’re not a shield for illegal or high-risk data storage. If your case involves sensitive strategy, reputational risk, or legal gray zones, contact us first so we can flag the right protections on your account.
