No. If an image is successfully generated, there are no refunds - even if you don't like the result.
Why no refunds?
When you generate an image, Loophole uses third-party AI services to create it. Those providers charge us for every image generated, whether you like it or not.
We can't offer refunds for successfully generated images because we don't receive refunds from our providers.
What if the image doesn't match what I wanted?
If the generated image doesn't match your expectations, you'll need to refine your prompt and generate a new image.
Each new generation costs another fee:
$0.25 without a reference image
$0.50 with a reference image
This is why we strongly recommend taking time to write a detailed, specific prompt before generating.

When DO I get a refund?
You'll automatically receive a refund if image generation completely fails.
"Completely fails" means:
All automatic retries are exhausted
The system is unable to produce any image at all
No PNG file is created in your Files
If this happens, your fee ($0.25 or $0.50) is automatically refunded to your available credit balance.
However, if the system successfully generates an image - even if it's not what you expected or wanted - that's not considered a failure. The image was created; it just didn't match your vision.
How to avoid wasting money on unwanted images
Write detailed, specific prompts
Vague prompts produce unpredictable results. Be specific about:
What you want to see
The style (cartoon, infographic, professional, etc.)
Colors, composition, mood
Any specific text or labels

Use a reference image when it helps
If you're illustrating something about a specific place or object, uploading a reference image can save you a lot of descriptive work and produce more accurate results.
Note: Reference images cost an additional $0.25 ($0.50 total).

When generating through an active Problem, images use Tool Action Credits instead of the $0.25/$0.50 fee - and you get strategic guidance on what to create.
