How do I delete a file?

You can delete any file from your Files page - as long as it's not actively linked to an incomplete Problem or in-progress Invoice Reducer submission.

You can delete all files from Settings > Security

Delete a single file

  1. Go to your Files page

  2. Find the file you want to delete and click Delete

  3. A Confirm Deletion popup will appear - click Yes, Delete to confirm

The file is permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

What if my file is linked to something?

When you click Delete, Loophole checks whether the file is connected to a World item, a Problem, or an Invoice Reducer submission. What happens next depends on what it's linked to:

Linked to a World item - You'll see a warning letting you know the file is attached to a World item, but you can still proceed with deletion.

Linked to a Problem or Invoice Reducer submission - You'll see an "Unable to Delete" popup. The file cannot be deleted while it's being used by an active Problem or an in-progress Invoice Reducer submission. You'll need to complete or delete the linked Problem or submission first.

Click Learn More in the popup for details, or see: Why can't I delete my file?

Delete all files

  2. Scroll down to the bottom and find the 'Data Management' section

  3. Click on the 'Delete All Files' button.

  4. In the popup confirmation modal, type DELETE ALL in the text field and click Delete All Files.

Good to know

  • Deletion is permanent - there is no trash bin or recovery option.

  • If you think you might need a file later, download it to your device before deleting.

  • Individual files can only be deleted from the Files page grid - to delete ALL files you must go to Settings > Security.
