If you tried to delete an SMS conversation and saw an "Unable to Delete" message, it's because that conversation has been flagged for review - either automatically by our system or because you flagged a Loophole AI response yourself.
Flagged conversations are locked from deletion until our team finishes reviewing them. This protects the integrity of the review and ensures we can investigate fully.
How to spot a flagged conversation
On your SMS Logs page, flagged conversations are easy to identify:
The conversation has a red border around it
The flagged message itself appears as a red bubble (instead of the usual blue or grey)
If the flag was triggered by our system, Loophole AI's reply will typically explain that texting is temporarily disabled while your account is under review
When you click the X on a flagged conversation, you'll see:
Unable to Delete
βThis conversation has been flagged for review and cannot be deleted until our team completes their review.
Why messages get flagged
Our system automatically flags messages that match patterns we monitor for safety and compliance. Common triggers include:
Prompt engineering attempts or trying to bypass safeguards
Requests for information about other users or accounts
Suspicious activity patterns
Policy boundary testing
Other automated risk signals
This is part of our normal protective process - not a sign you've done something wrong on purpose. Many flags clear after a quick review.
Flagged a response yourself?
You can also flag a specific Loophole AI response if you see an issue with it. When you do, that conversation is locked from deletion until our team reviews it - just like a system-flagged conversation. For details on how this works, see How to flag an SMS conversation.
Texting is paused while your account is system-flagged
When our system automatically flags a message, your entire SMS account is typically flagged too - not just that one conversation.
While your SMS account is flagged:
You cannot text Loophole at all
Any messages you send to Loophole will not be delivered or processed
You'll see a banner at the top of your SMS Logs explaining that your SMS account is flagged
You can still use every other part of Loophole as normal (your dashboard, Problems, Files, Tools, etc.)
You'll receive a text notification the moment your SMS access is restored.
Note: If you flagged a response yourself, your SMS account is not paused. Only that specific conversation is locked from deletion during review.
What happens next
Our team reviews the flagged conversation (typically within 24 hours)
Once review is complete, the delete option becomes available again
In some cases, the flag may lead to further action on your account - see Why was my account flagged? for details
Do I need to do anything?
No. The review happens automatically. You don't need to contact support or take action.
If our team needs more information from you, we'll reach out directly to the email address on your account.
What if it's been more than 24 hours?
If a conversation has been flagged for longer than 24 hours and you'd like an update, email Hi [at] Loophole (dot) com with your account email and we'll look into it.
