What is a Custom Voice and how do I get one?

Updated over 2 months ago

Custom Voice is an enterprise-only feature that lets you clone your own voice for use with Phone Console. Instead of selecting one of Loophole's preset voices, Phone Console can make calls using a hyper-realistic replica of your actual voice.

How It Works

Custom Voice creates a dedicated voice model trained specifically on recordings of you speaking. The result is a clone that captures your unique tone, cadence, accent, and speech patterns - making Phone Console calls sound like they're genuinely coming from you.

Requirements

To create a Custom Voice, you'll need to provide high-quality audio recordings of yourself speaking. Here's what we recommend:

Audio length:

  • Minimum: 30 minutes of audio

  • Recommended: 2-3 hours for the most accurate results

Recording quality:

  • Use a quality microphone in a quiet environment

  • Avoid background noise, echo, or reverb

  • Only your voice should be present - no other speakers

  • Use a pop filter to reduce plosives and breath sounds

Speaking style:

  • The clone will replicate whatever style you record, so if you want a professional tone, record in a professional tone

  • Stay consistent throughout your recordings - don't mix animated delivery with subdued delivery

  • Record in the language you'll primarily use the voice for

Verification Required

You can only clone your own voice. Before your Custom Voice is created, you'll need to complete a verification process to confirm you are the owner of the voice being cloned.

How to Get Started

Custom Voice is available exclusively to Enterprise accounts. If you're interested, reach out to your account manager or contact Loophole to discuss setup.
